COLLEGE STATION HANDS CUBETTE VOLLEYBALL FIRST DISTRICT LOSS
The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team lost a heartbreak three sets to two to College Station.
College Station won the first set 25-22. Brenham came back and won the second set 25-22, and the third set 25-21.
However, College Station rallied to win the fourth set 25-10, and the fifth set 15-12.
Brooke Bentke led Brenham with 24 kills and 13 digs. Lillie Thibodeaux added 10 kills.
Charli Crowson dished out 42 assists, and had 14 digs. Meanwhile, Kristen Kuehn added 21 digs and Sienna Kelm had 14 digs.
With the loss, Brenham drops to 25-12 on the season and 6-1 in district. The Cubettes start the second half of district on the road at Magnolia on Tuesday night.
DISTRICT MATCHES
A&M Consolidated swept Montgomery 3-0, Lake Creek swept Bryan Rudder 3-0, and Magnolia West beat Magnolia 3-2.
