BRENHAM CUBETTES BEAT RUDDER ON BIG NIGHT BY CHARLI CROWSON

The Brenham Cubettes picked up another victory last night as they knocked off Bryan Rudder three sets to one.

Rudder won the first set 25-22.  However, Brenham bounced back to win the next three sets 25-20, 27-25, and 25-16.

It was a big night for Charli Crowson, who had a triple-double with 12 kills, 15 digs, and 26 assists.  One of those assists was also the 1,500^th  of her high school career.

Also for the Cubettes:

• Brooke Bentke had 21 kills and 20 digs.
• Averi Frazier dished out 32 assists.
• Brenham also got 23 digs from Kristen Kuehn and 19 digs from Sienna Kelm.

Next up, the Cubettes host Lake Creek Friday night at 6pm. Brenham is now 28-12 on the season and 9-1 in district.
