BRENHAM CUBETTE VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS MONTGOMERY TO CAPTURE DISTRICT TITLE
The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team clinched the district championship last night with a three set sweep over Montgomery.
Before a packed house at the Brenham High School gym, the Cubettes won all three sets by the same score of 25-16.
Brenham improves to 30-12 on the season and 11-1 in district.
Last night was also Dig Pink Night in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
After the game, Coach Megan Whalen told KWHI that they ended up with 90 items for their drawing, and raised over $5,000 for the Side Out Foundation.
Next up, the Cubettes will host Magnolia West for their Seniors Night match this Friday at 6pm.
