CAMP FOR ALL FALL GALA RAISES $340,000
Camp For All’s annual fall gala last week proved to be a record-breaking evening in support of the nonprofit.
According to a release from Camp For All, the event last Thursday raised $340,000. Funds raised during the gala directly support Camp For All’s programming that annually serves nearly 9,000 campers with challenging illnesses or special needs.
The gala took place at Deep in the Heart Farms in Brenham, featuring a theme of “Aloha! An Evening in Paradise”. Gala Co-Chairs, Sue Anderson and Kathy Steffen, and Auction Chair, Marita Mikeska hosted the evening, which honored Sunny and Tee Dippel and Brenham National Bank for their dedication to the nonprofit. Camper Mayra Delacruz shared touching and uplifting stories about her experiences at Camp For All.
Guests also participated in a silent auction with numerous items donated by local supporters and businesses.
Camp For All President and CEO Pat Sorrells said the organization is “forever grateful for our dedicated supporters who directly impact each camper with their steadfast commitment to Camp.” She said because of their backing, it can “provide adults and children with challenging illnesses or special needs a life-changing Camp experience.”
