OVER 2,100 EARLY VOTERS THROUGH TWO DAYS

  

The second day of early voting in Washington County on Tuesday drew a larger turnout than the first.

Elections Administrator Carol Jackson reports 1,089 people came to the ballot box, up from 1,043 voters on Monday.

Through the first two days of early voting for the midterms and Brenham ISD bond election, 2,132 people have participated.

The Washington County Courthouse Annex will be open for early voting through November 4th.  Hours this week are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Next week’s early voting hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

Polls on Election Day, November 8th, will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
