HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES HAPPENING AROUND WASHINGTON CO. & THE AREA
Halloween weekend is here, and in and around Washington County, there are lots of ways to celebrate.
Here are some of the events going on around the area:
FRIDAY:
- Lee County Telecommunications is hosting a trunk or treat at the Lee County Sheriff's Office from 5 to 7 p.m.
- The Waller High School Football Stadium will have a trunk or treat on the visitor’s side from 6 to 8 p.m.
- A Harvest Carnival will take place from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the St. John’s Catholic Church pavilion in Fayetteville.
- The Burton Pumpkin Patch will be open from 4 to 7 p.m.
SATURDAY:
- A trunk or treat will be held at Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union’s location in Brenham from 2 to 4 p.m.
- The Brenham Church of Christ’s Fall Festival will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Brenham ISD’s Block Party runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fireman’s Park.
- The shops of downtown Bellville will host a Small Town Halloween Trick or Treat from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- A Trick or Treat Trail will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in downtown Burton.
- A Fall Festival is taking place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Round Top-Carmine Elementary School.
- Scare on the Square in downtown Caldwell is set for 5 to 7 p.m.
- Harmonie Hall in Shelby will host a Halloween Dance from 8 to midnight.
- The Burton Pumpkin Patch will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
SUNDAY:
- Downtown Chappell Hill will host Trick or Treat on Main Street from 1 to 5 p.m.
- John’s Lutheran Church in Deanville will have a trunk or treat from 4 to 6 p.m.
- In La Grange, trunk or treat events will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at La Grange Elementary School and from 5 to 7 p.m. at La Grange Church of Christ.
- The Burton Pumpkin Patch will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
MONDAY:
- The Brenham Boo Bash will be held in the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County’s parking lot in Brenham, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
- The First Baptist Church of Chappell Hill is hosting a Family Fall Festival from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- The Boys and Girls Club of Austin County will hold a trunk or treat in the club parking lot in Bellville from 7 to 9 p.m.
- A Halloween Carnival will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at High Hope Care Center in Brenham.
- Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance Agency in Brenham will have a trick or treat drive-thru starting at 5:30 p.m.
- Max Donuts and Shipley Donuts will host a Halloween candy drive-thru from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Max Donuts parking lot.
- The Prairie Hill Volunteer Fire Department will host Fright Night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the old school house on the Independence town square.
- First Christian Church of Brenham will hold a trunk or treat from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Brenham Quality Meat Market will pass out candy from 4 to 6 p.m.
- Treats on the Streets in Navasota begins at 6 p.m. in the 200 block of Holland Street.
- Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings will have a trunk or treat festival from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Silversage Assisted Living in Brenham will host a drive-thru trick or treat from 4 to 6 p.m.
- Fall’s a Ball at West End Baptist Church in Industry will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Trick or Treat on the Square will be held at the Fayette County Courthouse in La Grange from 4 to 6 p.m.
- The Carmine Volunteer Fire Department’s Spooktacular Firehouse Fun will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
- Downtown Sealy will host a Boo Bash from 5 to 8 p.m.
- A trunk or treat behind the Somerville High School gym will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
- The Snook PTO will have a trunk or treat from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Snook school parking lot.
- The Wallis Chamber of Commerce will host a trunk or treat from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wallis City Hall Complex.
KWHI will be putting on a party of its own Monday night, as the on-the-radio Halloween Party begins at 7 p.m. on AM 1280 and FM 101.7. Special spooky guest DJs will call families throughout the area to give away over 50 prizes. Click here to read more about the Halloween Party.
