BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD NEXT MEETING TUESDAY

  

Several financial items will come before the Burton City Council on Tuesday.

First on the agenda will be a public hearing for the 2023-24 Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Program.

Next, councilmembers will consider a debit card application for the utility fund and the addition of the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (CLFRF) to online banking with Citizens State Bank.  They will then look to transfer the remaining balance in the pavement fund to the general fund as partial payment of the recently completed road repairs and close the pavement fund account.

Lastly, the council will potentially approve the installation of a retail ice machine at the White Horse Tavern at 400 North Main Street.

The council will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
