JR. HIGH STUDENT CHARGED WITH MAKING A TERRORISTIC THREAT
A Brenham Junior High student has been charged with making a terroristic threat against the school.
Wednesday morning, a male student who attends Brenham Junior High School was detained by the Brenham Police Department and charged with making a terroristic threat against the school. The threat was reported to the campus administration and the campus School Resource Officer was immediately notified. The incident was investigated and at no time any students, or staff were in imminent danger.
The School District takes every threat seriously and works cooperatively with law enforcement to investigate each incident. Students and staff are encouraged to “See Something, Say Something.” Anonymous reports can be made using the Crisis Go system or Washington County Crime Stoppers.
