KWHI HOLDS 75TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

  

KWHI celebrated 75 years of broadcasting on Thursday.

The public was invited to join KWHI in marking the milestone with a ribbon cutting by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, along with a networking event by the Young Professionals Organization of Washington County.

Guests enjoyed food and refreshments while walking through the KWHI offices and studios to look at historic photos and station equipment.  They also had an opportunity to take a tour of the KWHI and KTEX-106 control rooms and watch a live evening newscast.

KWHI thanks all of our listeners and supporters for making 75 years possible, and we look forward to many more years of providing the latest news, sports, weather and much more.
