BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO DISCUSS LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES

  

Topics of importance during the upcoming legislative session beginning next month will be discussed today (Monday) by the Brenham School Board.

Trustees will go through the Education Service Center (ESC) Region VI superintendents’ list of legislative priorities.

The board will also consider approval of requests for proposals (RFPs) for fencing at Alton and Brenham Elementary Schools, and to replace a chiller at Brenham High School.

In other items, board members will potentially approve Brenham ISD’s 2021-22 financial audit conducted by Belt Harris Pechacek.  They will then perform the annual review of the district investment policy and vote on a resolution.  An update on school safety and security is also scheduled.

An executive session regarding personnel matters will be the final discussion item for trustees.

The board will meet at 6 p.m. in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.  The meeting will be livestreamed on Brenham ISD’s YouTube channel.
