LOCAL YOUTH GOING TO STATE FREE THROW CONTEST

The winners of the Brenham Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest took part in the Austin Diocese Tournament in Buda.
Three local youth finished at or near the top of their respective divisions at the Austin Diocese contest in Buda.
John Hefferly finished in first place in the 12 year old boys division after sinking 16 out of 25 shots.
Will Hefferly finished in the second place in the 10 year old boys division after sinking 15 out of 25 shots.
Julianne Carnagey finished in first place in the 11 year old girls division after sinking 16 out of 25 shots.
The winners advanced to the State Free Throw Contest on March 5 in San Antonio.
