PIZZA HUT COMING BACK TO BRENHAM

Street will soon house a Pizza Hut, according to new
building permit records released Wednesday by the
City of Brenham.
A popular pizza chain is making a return to Brenham.
February’s building permit report from the City of Brenham shows a $345,751 permit was taken out by Jerry Kachel Builder, Inc. for the tenant buildout for a Pizza Hut. The restaurant will be one of three occupants of the building under construction at 1502 South Day Street.
Debbie Gette, Project Manager for Jerry Kachel Builder, estimates the project should be complete by mid to late April.
Pizza Hut closed its past location in Brenham, at 2538 South Day Street, in October 2019.
Ten new homes were permitted in February for $1,442,377, leading to a year-to-date total of 17 new home permits for $2,431,162.
Thirty-five permits were issued by the city in February for $2,155,107. In comparison to February 2022, 47 permits were taken out for $6,790,526.
So far this year, there have been 57 permits for $3,494,043. Through this time last year, 72 permits were issued for $11,012,082.
