STRONG RELIEF PITCHING BY ASCHENBECK LEADS A&M TO WIN
The Aggie Baseball Team won a 16 inning thriller over Texas Tech 4-2 last (Sunday) night in the final game of the Shriner’s Children’s Baseball Classic at Minute Maid Park.
Evan Aschenbeck picked up his second win as an Aggie going the final 4 2/3 innings, retiring all 14 batters he faced including 8 strikeouts.
The game was tied 2-2 going to the 16th, when the Aggies managed to push two runs across to win it.
Next up, A&M will host Incarnate Word tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 6pm at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
