All participants in the Blue Bell Fun Run will
receive a medal, as well as free t-shirts and
Blue Bell Ice Cream.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is the day of the 45th Annual Blue Bell Fun Run.

Thousands of people will head to Brenham High School for one of four runs that wind their way through the Washington County countryside.  The half marathon gets underway at 7:30 a.m., followed by the kids’ 1-mile run at 8 a.m., 10K at 8:30 a.m. and 5K at 9:30 a.m.

Blue Bell Fun Run Director Tracy Campbell says the Fun Run is a big support for children in Brenham High School athletics.

While the run can certainly be a test, Campbell says the sweet reward at the end makes it all worth it.

In addition to the ice cream, participants will receive free event t-shirts and a medal.  Awards will go to the top finishers.

Parking will be at the Washington County Expo, with a shuttle bus taking participants to the high school.

Registration is still open through tomorrow morning and can be done at https://bluebellfunrun.com
