VOTING BEGINS FOR SPRING EGGS ART WALK
Spring has sprung in downtown Brenham with Main Street Brenham’s annual Spring Eggs Art Walk.

Dozens of colorfully decorated eggs sit nearby downtown businesses and at street corners.
The public is invited to vote for their favorite eggs by filling out a paper ballot from participating contest sponsors or the Brenham Washington County Visitor Center.
Ten prizes of $125 will be awarded, five for adults and five for students, in categories including Most Creative, Most Votes, Judge’s Choice, Best Easter Theme and Best Seasonal Theme. The grand prize winner for Best of Show will receive $200 from Kieke Egg Farm.
Other prize sponsors are Floyd’s Lounge, Hermann Furniture, The Pomegranate, Celia Haley, The Book Nook, Brenham Floral, The Canyon Chick, Upchurch Architects, Must Be Heaven and Texas Casual Cottages.
Voting is open through April 8th. The winners will be announced on April 11th.
Eggs are also up for auction during the art walk. Bids can be placed on egg designs at www.downtownbrenham.com/springeggs. Auction proceeds from each egg will be split 50/50 between the egg artist and Main Street Brenham. Proceeds will be presented in addition to any prize winnings.
