SIX PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Six people plead guilty last week and were sentenced by Judge Towslee Corbett in District Court.

Nickalous Dewayne Knight, 35 of Chappell Hill, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for Evading Arrest with a Previous Conviction.

Latasha Evette Garrett, 29 of Brenham, had her probation adjudicated and sentenced to 12 months in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.

Kenneth Bilski, 61 of Smithville, was sentenced to 10 months in state jail for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Cordell Russell Fischer, 23 of Ledbetter, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.

Narciso Ibarra Uvalle, 46 of Hempstead, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.

Matthew Dow Cool, 54 of Austin, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
