BLINN COLLEGE CLAY SHOOTOUT RETURNS ON APRIL 14

  

The Blinn College Alumni and Friends Association and the Blinn Buccaneer Alumni Lettermen Association will be hosting their sixth annual Clay Shootout.

The Clay Shootout goes to raise funds for academic scholarships and equipment for the Blinn College Athletic Department. 

The Shootout is being held on Friday, April 14, at the Boswell Porter 4-H Shotgun Range in Caldwell.

Shooting times are at 8:30am, 11:30am, and 2:30pm.

Registration is $600 for a team of four.  They are also taking single shooters that can register for $150, and then will be placed on a team.

Spectators can get in for a $20 fee.

Awards will be presented to the top teams as well as individually to the top male, top female, and top youth shooters.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

The Blinn College Clay Shootout also has sponsorship opportunities available.  They start with the “Friend of Blinn” sponsorship for $100, and go up to $15,000 to be a “Shootout Underwriter.”

In addition to that, they are holding a drawing for numerous prizes, including different types of firearms, a four-gallon Cajun Fryer, and a pair of $250 VISA gift cards.

Tickets for the drawing are $20 each, or $100 for a book of six.
