HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING

  

A Houston man was arrested early Wednesday after he failed to identify himself.

Brenham Police report that early Wednesday morning at 12:30, Officer Bryan Morong stopped a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block Highway 290 East. The driver failed to identify by refusing to give his name and date of birth or any form of identification. The driver was placed under arrest for Failure to Identify. The driver would later provide his name and date of birth and admitted he had knowledge of an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The driver, Todrick Deshawn Basped, 31 of Houston, was charged with Failure to Identify, Fugitive from Justice and the active warrant for Assault of a Family or Household Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation out of Harris County.
