GRACE LUTHERAN STUDENTS GOING TO STATE COMPETITION

  

Students from Grace Lutheran School in Brenham had a successful outing at the recent Private Schools Interscholastic Association (PSIA) District Competition.

The competition was held at Immanuel Lutheran School in Giddings.

Out of 12 other private schools, Grace Lutheran had a combined 32 top ten finishes. 

A school record eight students from Grace will be moving on to the State PSIA Competition, which will be held on May 6 at TCU in Fort Worth. 

They are going to be competing against approximately 1,600 students from across the state of Texas.

The State Qualifying students are:

Wyatt Tompkins (1st place in Listening Skills)

Charles Henderson (2^nd in Math and 1^st in Spelling)

Everett Ogrodowicz (2^nd in Music Memory)

Elias Ogrodowicz (1^st in Music Memory)

Elise Ogrodowicz (2^nd in Music Memory)

Augustine Colanter (2^nd in Ready Writing)

Jackson Havers (2^nd in Ready Writing)

Collin Jahnke (1^st in Spelling).

Grace Lutheran School is located at 1212 West Jefferson Street in Brenham.  They are celebrating their 75^th Anniversary School Year.
