BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING

  

A Brenham woman was arrested for theft Saturday from the local Walmart store.

Brenham Police report that Saturday afternoon at 1:10 Officer Matthew Brown was dispatched to a shoplifting at 203 Highway 290 West, the Brenham Walmart store. Dispatch provided what the suspect was wearing and the color of vehicle the suspect entered.  The vehicle was located, and after further investigation, it was determined that the female, Kathleen Pettijohn, 63 of Brenham, had stolen property.  Pettijohn was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Theft of Property between $100 and $750.
