WASHINGTON CO. REMEMBERS 9/11 AT MEMORIAL STAIR CLIMB
Washington County first responders and community members gathered this (Friday) morning at Cub Stadium in Brenham in solemn remembrance of the 25th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Members of the Brenham Police and Fire Departments, Washington County EMS, and other local law enforcement and emergency service agencies joined residents in partnership with Brenham ISD for a Memorial Stair Climb.
Participants climbed 2,200 steps, representing the 110 floors of the World Trade Center, to honor those who gave their lives as first responders and the civilians who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks.
