BURTON SCHOOL BOARD SETS NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT AT $550,000 FOR SITE, FIELD RESTORATION PROJECT

  

The Burton School Board agreed Wednesday on a not-to-exceed amount for a site and field restoration project. 

Trustees approved a limit of $550,000 for the long-term safety upgrades and maintenance improvements planned at the baseball and softball fields. 

The motion from the board included authorization for the superintendent to execute agreements and expenditures.

At its meeting last week, the board selected Collier Construction as the construction manager at risk and PlanNorth Architectural Company as the project architect and engineer.  The board noted at the time that law requires the selection of an architect/engineer, but this project does not involve building, so the district will not need one.
