RODEO GIDDINGS TO RETURN NEXT WEEK TO THE LCSP ARENA
Rodeo Giddings makes its return to the Lee County Sheriff’s Posse Arena next week.
The annual event will be held Friday, April 21, to Saturday, April 22.
The performances are scheduled to start at 7:30pm each night at the Sheriff’s Posse Arena, which is located at 2591 Highway 290 West in Giddings.
Admission is $20 for adults, while kids 7-14 years old get in for $5, and kids 6 and under get in for free.
Rodeo events will include bareback, steer wrestling, team roping, calf roping, ladies barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc, and ladies’ breakaway.
There is $21,000 in added money available for the rodeo with top prizes going to the best All Around Cowboy and Cowgirl.
There are also going to be mutton bustin’ and calf scramble events for the kids.
On Saturday, April 22, there will be a royal coronation at 6pm, and then later that evening, the Risky Liver Band performs from 10pm-12:30am.
