WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR SPRING EGGS ART WALK
Main Street Brenham has announced the winners for the annual Spring Eggs Art Walk.
A record 40 eggs were entered into this year’s contest, and 11 prizes were awarded.
The grand prize Best of Show winner, receiving $200 from Kieke Egg Farm, was “EGGtraordinary Fish!!” by Traci Moran.
For adults, the Best Easter Theme, winning $125 from Celia Haley, was “Jesus Is Risen” by Pat Gaskamp.
The student Best Easter Theme, receiving $125 from Must Be Heaven, was “The Cross of Jesus” by the 6th grade art class at First Baptist Church School.
Most Creative in the adults category was “Eggcited for Easter” by the Doty’s, winning $125 from Floyd’s Lounge.
The Most Creative student egg was “Oh, The Places You’ll Go” by Brenham High School AVID, receiving $125 from Brenham Foundry & Floral Co.
Judge’s Choice for adults, winning $125 from The Pomegranate, was “Paradise” by Katie McCracken.
The student Judge’s Choice, and the winner of $125, from Upchurch Architects, was “The Third Day” by Ella Knobloch.
The adult egg with the Most Votes was “Pickled Egg” by Brenham Pickleball, who was the recipient of $125 from Hermann Furniture.
Most Votes for a student egg was “Some Bunny Special” by Jayci Moran, winning $125 from The Canyon Chick.
The Best Seasonal Theme for adults, receiving $125 from The Book Nook, was “Meow, Said the Rabbit” by Bobbi Jo Supak.
The student egg chosen for Best Seasonal Theme, winning $125 from Texas Casual Cottages, was “Easter at the Pool” by Blue Bell Aquatic Center Staff.
