EARLY VOTING OPENS WITH OVER 300 FIRST-DAY VOTERS

though May 2, and Election Day is May 6.
Over 300 people came out for the first day of early voting in Washington County.
Elections Administrator Carol Jackson says a total of 342 ballots were cast on Monday. That includes 342 votes in the Blinn Board of Trustees election, 330 for Brenham ISD, 197 for the City of Brenham, 12 for Burton ISD and three for the City of Burton.
Early voting continues at the Washington County Courthouse Annex through May 2nd, running on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Election Day is May 6th.
Today (Tuesday) is the last day to submit an application for a ballot by mail. Any applications that are mailed in must be received by 5 p.m. in the Washington County Elections Office.
