JUNIOR CORONATION CONCLUDES 133RD MAIFEST
The 133rd Brenham Maifest culminated on Saturday with the crowning of the Junior Maifest royalty.
Junior Queen Virginia Kate Priesmeyer and Junior King Luke Robert Hyatt reigned over the court of “The Enchanted Tree House.” The ceremony traveled through numerous eras of history, from the prehistoric ages with dinosaurs and cavemen, to the American Revolution, to the 1920s, 1950s and many more.
The coronation put a bow on a weekend’s worth of festivities at Fireman’s Park, including the Mighty Thomas Carnival, beer tasting, live music, games, dance performances, a parade through downtown and the Senior Coronation Friday night.
