KETTLER ELECTED AS BLINN BOARD’S PRECINCT 2 TRUSTEE

  

A new trustee has been elected to the Blinn College Board.

Diane Kruse Kettler will become the new Precinct 2 board member after defeating Andrea Liner on Saturday, 3,105 – 577.   Current Precinct 2 Trustee Douglas Borchardt did not seek re-election after serving since 2010.

Kettler is thrilled to be able to help lead Blinn College and thanks her supporters for giving her the chance to do so.

Liner congratulated Kettler and said her own experience through this election has been very informative and educational. 

There were 3,682 ballots cast in the Blinn election, with 24,413 registered voters in Washington County able to participate.  Election results are unofficial until they are canvassed by the board.
