LIFETIME LEARNING OFFERING WORKSHOP

  

Lifetime Learning of Brenham is offering a June writing workshop entitled “Telling Our Stories.”

It is going to be led by Joyce Boatright, a writer, storyteller, and teacher whose stories have been published in journals, newspapers, and anthologies and is the author of Telling Your Story: A Basic Guide to Memoir Writing. 

Boatright is a Faculty Fellow at the Jung Center where she has taught journaling and memoir writing for over a decade.

Many people have stories to tell, but don’t know where to start or how to organize their thoughts into writing.

Boatwright will focus on vignettes centering on historical events lived through, perhaps the choices made, and the wisdom garnered from life.

The workshop is Saturday, June 10th, 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in Meeting Rooms 2-3, of the Blinn College Student Center in Brenham.

The cost to attend is $60 and that includes materials.

The workshop is limited to 12 participants.
