TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED FOR WARRANTS

  

Two people were arrested Thursday in separate incidents on outstanding warrants.

Brenham Police report that Thursday morning at 11:55, Officer Bruno conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West. The driver, Ronald Johnson, 43 out of Austin, was discovered to have an active warrant out of Round Rock Police Department. He placed into custody for the warrant of Criminal Mischief, and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Thursday afternoon at 1:50, Officers responded to a business located in the 2700 block of Highway 36 South in reference to a report of Criminal Trespass. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Crystal Catrice Riley, 33 of Houston, as one of the persons the store wished to have a trespass warning issued. A wanted person check revealed Riley to have an outstanding warrant out of Harris County for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.  Riley was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.
