BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

  

A Brenham man was arrested Wednesday on Marijuana Charges.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday night at 10:45, Officer Myles Masters conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Highway 290 East on a vehicle for an equipment and traffic violation. Marijuana and paraphernalia were located in the vehicle during a probable search. The driver, Douglas Scott Hillman, 63 of Brenham, was found to be in possession of marijuana and open alcohol containers were found in the vehicle. Hillman was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz, and cited for Possession of an Open Alcoholic Beverage In a Motor Vehicle.
