FOUR PEOPLE ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

  

Four people were arrested over the weekend in separate incidences on Marijuana Charges.

Brenham police report that Friday afternoon at 2:05, Officer Eric Crosby conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Kirk Drive and Geney Street. Marijuana was located inside the vehicle during a probable cause search. The driver, Star Kennedy Walker, 21 of Houston, and passenger, Isis Soliel Jekay Solomon, 22 of Houston, were placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then early Saturday morning at 5:50, Officer Eric Crosby initiated a traffic stop in the 1900 block West Main Street for a traffic violation. Marijuana was located inside the vehicle during a probable cause search. The driver, Oscar Huerta Martinez, 27 of El Campo, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday night at 9:10, Officer Matthew Brown initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of South Chappell Hill Street and Highway 290 East. Marijuana was located inside the driver’s purse during a probable cause of the vehicle. The driver, Jasmine Phillips, 21 of Brenham, was taken in custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
