  1. This lady has been arrested twice in a week and then turned out to the streets again. Citizens have also reported that she can be dangerous. Has anyone contacted Adult Protective Services?
There is a growing group of homeless in Brenham and action needs to be taken. Market Street has intoxicated indigent people laying on the sidewalks, and the parks also have them sleeping there. Friends use to walk at Holt Park but are now afraid to do so. Ignoring this issue is not helping them or the citizens of this town !!!!! Wonder what visitors think ?!!!!

    1. Wonder what the many, many churches in our fair city “think”. This is not an indictment but simply an observation. It is so easy to assume that “somebody” should do something about the intoxicated indigent homeless cluttering up “our city” as long as that “somebody” is not the person complaining. I guess it is true what they say about most people; “they have no problem with CHRIST; it is Christians that they have a problem with”.

        1. Here we go again…attacking Christians. I promise there are many, many, many church’s and other Civic Minded organizations and individuals who reach out and help in all sorts of ways. What about Bread Partners, Boys & Girls Club, The drug centers, the pregnancy centers??? Who helps fund all these…strictly non-Christians? So you want to attack Churches and other people as only complaining, never actually reaching out to help. You are wrong…many people help in many ways…and Churches are included.

          1. Calm down! Read once and misunderstand. Read twice and get an understanding! No one attacked churches. I do believe the post asked “what the many, many churches in our fair city THINK”. And by the way, there are a lot of non-Christians who have lots of human compassion and do assist the poor, homeless, widows, orphans and IMMIGRANTS in many ways. You do understand that being a Christian and being a church goer are not always the same thing. And by the way, I AM A CHRISTIAN (A Christ follower) and I am well versed in Scripture enough to know that judgement shall first begin in the household of Faith.
