MEMORIAL ARRANGEMENTS ANNOUNCED FOR BELLVILLE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE, CSU STUDENT-ATHLETE
Memorial services are set after the sudden passing last week of a 2022 Bellville High School graduate and accomplished student-athlete.

Colton Kaase, 19 and entering his sophomore year at Colorado State University, died on Monday. According to his obituary, he suffered a pulmonary embolism, or blockage of an artery in the lungs.
Kaase graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bellville High School, received athletic honors in several sports, and was an active member of the Bellville FFA. He signed with Colorado State University to study mechanical engineering and compete in track, earning seven top-10 finishes during his freshman year.
Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Knesek Family Funeral Chapel in Bellville, 842 East Main Street. A memorial will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Welcome Lutheran Church, located at 13636 FM 109.
