CITY, COUNTY OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR JUNETEENTH

  

Local offices will be closed on Monday in celebration of Juneteenth.

Closures include Brenham City Hall, Brenham Municipal Court, Brenham Animal Services, the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library and all Washington County offices.

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center will have reduced hours of 1 to 5 p.m., while the Brenham & Washington County Visitor Center will be open for normal hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station, along with residential and commercial trash pick-up, will proceed with regular operations. 

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed on Monday.  Bluebonnet members can access their account information and make payments through the co-op’s website, www.bluebonnet.coop, the MyBluebonnet mobile app or by calling 800-842-7708.  Power outages can be reported through the website, phone app, calling 800-949-4414 or via the Bluebonnet Outage Alerts program by texting OUT to 85700.
