HIGHWAY 290 WESTBOUND LANES BACK OPEN AFTER ACCIDENT NEAR BURTON
Update @ 10:30 a.m.: DPS reports that units have cleared the scene of this (Monday) morning's accident on Highway 290, east of Burton.
Original Story @ 9:55 a.m.: Traffic on Highway 290 east of Burton is at a crawl after an accident this (Monday) morning.
According to radio scanner traffic, the two-vehicle accident was reported around 9 a.m. near Briar Creek Road.
According to DPS, the westbound lanes of Highway 290 are shut down.
An 18-wheeler and Ford F-150 pickup were said to be involved. DPS reports minor injuries.
