GIDDINGS ISD NAMES NEW INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

  

The Giddings ISD Board of Trustees has named Josh Hatfield as the new Principal for Giddings Intermediate School.

Hatfield comes to Giddings from the College Station ISD, where he has spent time as Principal for College Hills Elementary and Assistant Principal at Southwood Valley Elementary.

Prior to that, he was a teacher at Hempstead Elementary School.

Hatfield earned his Masters Degree in Education from Prairie View A&M University, and is currently working on his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University.

Giddings Interim Superintendent Shane Holman said that Hatfield brings very valuable experience and expertise to the campus and their administrative team. 

Hatfield said that it is honor to lead Giddings Intermediate School as the next Principal, and that he is excited to be a part of the school district and the community.

He takes over the position formerly held by Michael Mahoney, who was chosen to be the new Principal at Giddings High School back in March.
