The town of Round Top is getting ready for their 173rd Annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration.

Activities begin on the Town Square at 10am, and the shooting of the Round Top Cannon will start the parade at 10:30am.

A chicken and sausage barbecue meal is being served at the Round Top Rifle Association Hall at 11:30am.

They also have a drive-thru available with brisket, pork, sausage, and chicken by the pound.

Brisket and Pork are $18 per pound, sausage is $10 per link, and chickens are $10 for a whole, or $5 for a half.

The drive-thru is by reservation only.  Reservations can be made by calling 979-249-7335.

Live music will be provided all day by the Round Top Brass Band, the Round Top Jam Session, as well as Cool Freddie E and the Crew.

In addition to that, they are selling tickets to a drawing.  Among the prizes is a $5,000 gift card.

Tickets can be purchased at Round Top State Bank, Round Top Mercantile, or from any Round Top Rifle Association Member.
