CHAPPELL HILL INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE WINNERS ANNOUNCED

  

The town of Chappell Hill was full of Fourth of July fervor on Tuesday as it hosted its 46th annual Independence Day parade.

Numerous patriotic floats made their way through downtown, accompanied by performances from the World Famous Marching Kazoo Band.

Prize money was awarded to the top float entries and parade participants. 

First place was Amazon Spirit – Malinowski/Krolczyk Family, winning a $300 prize sponsored by Legend Texas Realty. 

The second-place entry was the Chappell Hill Garden Club, receiving $175 sponsored by Janet Dreyer: Sotheby’s Realty.

Winning third place, a $100 prize sponsored by Rodney’s General Repair, was Schonefeld Farms’ “Chappell Hill Hot Tub Society”. 

The best kids’ entry was Lexi Neumann’s Yankee Doodle Mini Pony, receiving a $100 prize sponsored by Chappell Hill Bakery, Deli & BBQ. 

The best business entry was Chappell Hill Bakery, Deli & BBQ, winning $100 sponsored by Brenham National Bank.

The best classic car, winning a $100 prize sponsored by Childress Ranch Estates, was Zach & Laura Bond: Holloway Homes.
