SILVER ALERT ISSUED FOR MISSING HEMPSTEAD MAN
DPS has issued a Silver Alert for a missing man from Hempstead.
Authorities say 69-year-old Leonard Wilson was last seen around 2 p.m. Sunday driving in the 600 block of Highway 290 East in Hempstead.
The original Silver Alert described Wilson’s vehicle as a silver 2020 Chevrolet Malibu, but an updated bulletin issued later this (Monday) morning stated the vehicle was black. The Texas license plate of RFT9606 is still the same.
Wilson is 6’1” and 210 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans and beige shoes. He is diagnosed with cognitive impairment.
