BRENHAM POLICE ARREST THREE PEOPLE
Three people were arrested between Monday and early Tuesday in separate incidents by Brenham Police.
They report that Monday morning at 11:05, Officers responded to a call in reference to an intoxicated person at the 2000 block of Wood Ridge Blvd. The individual was located and identified as Amy Pennington, 44 of Brenham. Pennington was intoxicated in a public place and placed into custody for Public Intoxication. She was transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then Monday evening at 8:25, Officers responded to the 300 block of North Austin Parkway in reference to a Suspicious Person. Investigation revealed Gregory Britton, 61 of Brenham, was intoxicated in a public place. Gregory was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then early Tuesday morning at 2:45, Cpl. Jose Perez observed a male walking on the wrong side of the roadway in the 300 block of South Austin Street. A warrant check revealed the subject, Sherman Smith, 40 of Brenham, revealed he has an active warrant for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. out of Washington County. Smith was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
