HENDERSON PARK SPLASH PAD TO CLOSE WEDNESDAY FOR FALL

  

The City of Brenham’s splash pad at Henderson Park is closing today (Wednesday) for the fall season.

The splash pad is normally open from April until the end of September.  However, the city says that due to the continued drought and high daily demand on the water treatment plant, it will help conserve treated water by ending the splash pad season a few weeks early. 

In a press release, City of Brenham Public Works Director Dane Rau said the city wants to be mindful of the ongoing drought conditions in the county and do its part in conserving the best that it can. 

The splash pad has been in operation at Henderson Park since June 2020.
