RT-C DEFEATS LADY PANTHERS 3-1

The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes picked up a 3-1 victory over the Burton Lady Panthers last (Tuesday) night.

RTC won the first set 25-22. Burton came back and took the second set 25-19.

However, the Cubettes would take the final two sets 25-21 and 25-15.

For the Cubettes, Mallory Krause, had her sixth triple-double of the season. She finished with 19 kills, 18 digs, and 21 assists.

Tess Eilers had 10 kills and 15 digs. Jill Eilers finished with 8 kills, 10 digs, and 27 assists. RTC also got 28 digs from Maggie Salinas and 10 digs from Kim Rohde.

Next up, they will be taking part in the Aggieland Tournament Friday and Saturday.

For Burton, Amaya Williams and Aerynn Huntsman had 11 kills each. Huntsman also finished with 24 digs, while Williams added 11more digs.

Meanwhile, Paige Fritsch dished out 36 assists and added 20 digs. Reagan Roemer led the Lady Panther defense with 29 digs.

Next up, the Panthers will host Iola Friday afternoon at 4pm.
