BURTON PANTHERS TO VISIT SAN ANTONIO HOLY CROSS

The Burton Panther Football Team is looking to get back on the winning track this evening as they travel to San Antonio to take on Holy Cross.

Kickoff is set for 7pm.

The game was not originally on the schedule for Burton. Originally, this was going to be Burton's bye week. However, Runge did not have enough players to field a team, so they are having to forfeit all their games. (Runge is expected to drop down to Six Man Football when realignment occurs in the Spring.)

Burton is 1-2 on the season. They lost to Holland in Week One 31-14, but then bounced back to beat Hearne 27-24 in Week Two. However, the Panthers fell to Schulenburg 35-21 last week.

The Holy Cross Knights are out of TAPPS Division III District 3. After dropping their first two games of the season, the Knights came back to beat Savio 21-14 last week.

Burton Head Coach Jason Hodde talked about to what type of team Holy Cross is.

This game is Burton's final tune-up before the start of district play next week.

OTHER GAMES INVOLVING 14-2A DIVISION II TEAMS:
