COLLEGE STATION HANDS CUBETTES THEIR FIRST DISTRICT LOSS

In the battle of the unbeatens, the College Station Lady Cougars handed the Brenham Cubettes their first district loss on Friday night, 3-0, at the College Station High School Gym.

College Station won the sets 25-20, 25-23, and 30-28.

For the Cubettes, Charli Crowson finished with a triple-double. She had 10 kills, 12 digs, and 13 assists.

Lillie Thibodeaux led the team in kills with 16, while Rylee Sommerlatte added nine.

Averi Frazier dished out 16 assists.

Kristen Kuehn led the defense 31 digs.

College Station wraps up the first half of district play with a 7-0 record, while the Cubettes drop to 6-1.

Next up, the Cubettes will start the second half of district play against Magnolia on Tuesday at 6pm at the Brenham High School Gym.
