CUBETTES DEFEAT MAGNOLIA 3-1 IN DISTRICT PLAY

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team picked up another district victory last (Tuesday) night as they knocked off the Magnolia Lady Bulldogs 3-1. 

Magnolia won the first set 26-24.  However, the Cubettes came back to win the next three sets 25-19, 25-20, and 25-14.

Charli Crowson finished with another triple-double: 14 kills, 17 digs, and 20 assists.

Lillie Thibodeaux had 16 kills and five blocks. 

Antyiahna Lang added 10 kills, while Rylee Sommerlatte finished with eight kills.

Averi Frazier dished out 21 assists and had 9 digs. Sienna Kelm added 15 digs and Brooklin Frazier had 12 digs. 

Next up, the Cubettes will host A&M Consolidated Friday at 6pm at the Brenham High School Gym.

In other District 21-5A action:

College Station defeated Lake Creek 3-1

Montgomery swept Rudder 3-0

Magnolia West swept A&M Consolidated.
