FOUR PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Four people were arrested by Brenham Police in separate incidents Saturday.

They report that early Saturday morning at 1:00, Corporal Jose Perez, was dispatched to the 2800 block of Highway 36 South in reference to a welfare concern. Upon arrival, Investigating revealed that the driver, Jason Ramirez, 20 of Brenham, fell asleep at the wheel and was blocking traffic. Ramirez was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for Driving While Intoxicated with Open Alcoholic Container and for six active traffic warrants.

Then Saturday morning at 5:40, Officer Garrett Downs was dispatched to 1200 Block of Old Independence Road in reference to a wanted person. Upon further investigation, Kris Bellard, 53 of Brenham, was booked in for 3 active warrants of Motion to Revoke Probation for Driving While Intoxicated with an alcohol level greater than .15.

Then Saturday afternoon at 2:50, Officers responded to the 400 block of Laney Street in reference to a warrant service. Upon arrival, the suspect, Jason Lee Montgomery, 28 of Brenham, was located and placed in custody for an active warrant out of Brazos County Sheriff’s Office for Driving While Intoxicated.

Then Saturday night at 8:45, Corporal Jose Perez, was dispatched to 600 block of Church Street in reference to an Assault. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that the suspect Israel Morales, 33 of Brenham, assaulted the victim. Morales was placed in custody for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
