Brenham Junior High School has named its new Duke and Duchess.
Princeton Hall and Abby Escobedo were crowned as the new junior high royalty during a pep rally on Tuesday.
Other candidates were Luke Alford, Laynee Appling, Colleen Beaudet, Roland Branch Jr., Ethan Brumwell, Johnnie Cook, Chet Eckert, Gentri Gutierrez, Aldyn Jacks, Tearsyn McBride, Beckett Neil, Nate Rau, Kenede Raven, Bailey Rogers, Baylee Shields, Addison Siemsglusz, Brazos Supak and Maggie Thibodeaux.
The student body voted for their choice of Duke and Duchess last week. Duke and Duchess candidates were nominated by teachers based on their leadership on campus, in the classroom and in extracurricular activities.
Brenham High School will crown its Homecoming King and Queen during tomorrow (Friday) night’s football game versus the Bryan Rudder Rangers. Kickoff is at 7:30 at Cub Stadium, with 7 p.m. pregame on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
