Burton High School will crown homecoming royalty tonight (Friday).
Nominees for Homecoming Queen are Allie Biggs, Kalli Pohl, Jynisha Randle and Katy Whitfield.

Homecoming King candidates are Zane Aschenbeck, Colby Beck, Andre Ortiz and Chad Schubert.
Other members of the court are Junior Duchess Kara Kaye, Sophomore Duchess Aerynn Huntsman and Freshman Duchess Adison Harmel.
The homecoming royalty will be recognized during a ceremony at 7 p.m. at the high school gym. Festivities are being held in the gym because of ongoing construction at the football stadium.
The Panther football team is off tonight, as its scheduled opponent, Runge, is forfeiting all of its games this year due to not having enough players to field a team.
