An alleged drug dealer found himself behind bars on Friday after law enforcement discovered his operation while responding to a disturbance call.

The Colorado County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home located in the 900 block of Brazos Street in the Glidden community.

Upon their arrival, Sheriff’s Deputies observed drug paraphernalia and other indicators that narcotics were being sold from the home.

An investigator with the Westside Narcotics Task Force was requested to assist them at the scene.

A search warrant was later executed at the residence resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine, fentanyl, marijuana, firearms, and U.S. currency.

Packing materials and scales were also located in the home, which law enforcement say is an indicator of narcotics distribution.

Jesse Lee Cloninger was arrested at the scene and transported to the Colorado County Jail.

He was charged with two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Delivery of Marijuana, and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

The Columbus Police Department assisted at the scene.  The Colorado County Attorney’s Office also assisted with the investigation.
