BURTON PANTHERS PLAY REGULAR SEASON FINALE AGAINST SOMERVILLE

The Burton Panther Football Team renews their rivalry with the Somerville Yeguas. The location of the game has been moved to Buffalo Stadium in Giddings, and will be as close as the Panthers get to a home game this season.

It will be Seniors Night as Burton honors their outgoing seniors Austin Gutierrez, Chad Schubert, Andre Ortiz, Colby Beck, Trinity Pope, Tyrone Gilmon, Zane Aschenbeck, Grayson Brown, and Keagan Fenner.

Kickoff is at 7pm.

The Panthers are 5-4 on the season and 4-1 in district. After losing four of their first five games, Burton is on a four game winning streak. They are one game behind Falls City, who is 5-0. This was Falls City's scheduled week against Runge, so they will win by forfeit.

Somerville is competing along with Louise, Snook, and Yorktown for the final two playoff spots in the district.
